About us
I am a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner. Highly experienced nurse practitioner of six years including 23 years of nursing experience with a strong clinical background of providing quality patient-centered care in hospitals, clinics, home care, and schools. Dr. Smart also has a master’s degree in nursing education with 10 years of teaching in higher education, four-year nursing programs, and providing leadership and mentoring in higher academic settings. She has worked in hospital-run clinics and community-based clinics.
