About us
Hi, I'm Dr. Melissa Carris, a clinical psychologist in Grand Junction, CO. In my private practice, I treat people dealing with occupational injuries (worker's compensation).
Persistent pain, and the often traumatic nature of a work injury, can be difficult to negotiate. My goal is to help people learn ways to manage - or even resolve - their symptoms. I teach people about the neurophysiology of persistent pain and modifiable biopsychosocial risk and resilience factors they can address to better manage their situation.
