Roan Mountain State Park is home to over 2000 acres of preserved forest. This park is rich in biodiversity and is home to the crystal clear doe river. Some popular activities are trout fishing, mountain biking, and hiking. There are also numerous overnight options such as fully equipped cabins, and over a hundred campsites.
