Sleepy's in Rio Grande, NJ is doing the old bait and switch move. My story is recently my wife and i went to sleepy's during their President's Day sale to purchase a bed. We found one we liked and put some money down for a layaway to be able to keep the sales price. We decided to have the bed delivered to the store for us to pick up. We asked Tom when he gets deliveries so that we can plan ahead. Tom said he gets deliveries on Mondays and Fridays he added that if we gave him a few days notice of our last payment, he would be sure to have our item in stock for us to pick up. When my wife went back the following Friday, to put more money down, she asked Tom if he could have the bed ready for pickup by Tuesday, he said sure, she asked again about having it ready by Tuesday, yeah sure no problem, he said. We came back Tuesday like we said to pay off and pick up the bed, he say's oh I'm sorry I can't order the bed till its paid in full. He then says its store policy. Later I read on the...
